The Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University Graduates 14 Postgraduate Students in the Third Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Yogyakarta, April 23, 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held a graduation release ceremony for postgraduate students of Period III Academic Year 2025/2026 on Thursday, April 23, 2026. The ceremony, held within the APSLC Auditorium on the 8th floor, was attended by the deanery, faculty members, postgraduate program leadership, and the graduates’ families. The event commenced at 11:00 AM WIB with a speech from the graduate representative, Agung Giri Samudra, followed by an address from the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi. In his speech, the Dean expressed profound appreciation for the graduates’ dedication to completing their studies with high integrity amidst the ever-evolving dynamics of the health sector.

During this period, the Faculty of Pharmacy presented special awards to graduates with outstanding academic achievements under the “Cum Laude” distinction. Graduates such as Agung Giri Samudra from the Doctoral Program, along with Sukma Uswatun Niswah and Ryan Enrico Sebastian from the Master’s Program, recorded a perfect GPA of 4.00. This success was complemented by efficient study durations, with several master’s students completing their education in just 1 year and 5 months. These achievements reflect the high quality of education and supervision within the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy in nurturing new experts in the field.

This release ceremony also serves as a tangible manifestation of UGM’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education). By producing experts at the master’s and doctoral levels, UGM plays a strategic role in strengthening pharmaceutical research, drug independence innovation, and improving public health service standards. The event concluded with a prayer led by Prof. Dr. apt. Akhmad Kharis Nugroho, M.Si., followed by a group photo session with the faculty leadership, symbolizing the graduates’ readiness to serve for the advancement of the nation.
