Yogyakarta, 23 January 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), is a higher education institution in pharmacy that plays a vital role in producing graduates with excellent competencies in pharmaceutical knowledge and skills, grounded in strong professional ethics as pharmacists. In carrying out this role, lecturers are an integral part of achieving the faculty’s vision and mission through the implementation of the university’s tridharma.

The pharmaceutical industry is one of the key stakeholders of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM that absorbs graduates. The dynamic development of the pharmaceutical field and industry demands that graduates possess competencies that can quickly adapt to current pharmaceutical needs and challenges. Therefore, a strong and sustainable relationship between pharmaceutical higher education institutions and industry is essential.

As a strategic partner of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Dexa Group has established collaboration in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. Through PT. Inertia Utama (Dexa Group), the Expertise Exchange program was organized as an effort to strengthen the alignment between graduate competencies and industry needs. This activity was initiated in response to the existing competency gap between graduates and stakeholder expectations, highlighting the need for a structured relationship between pharmaceutical higher education and the pharmaceutical industry. The Expertise Exchange program aims to enhance lecturers’ understanding of real-world problems and problem-solving approaches within the pharmaceutical industry. The program was conducted from Tuesday to Thursday, 20–22 January 2026, at PT.
