Yogyakarta, 20 January 2026 — As part of a continuous effort to maintain educational quality and academic readiness, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), organized a Workshop on the Evaluation of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) for the 2025/2026 Odd Semester and Preparation for the 2025/2026 Even Semester. The event, held on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, at the 8th Floor Auditorium of the APSLC Building, was attended by faculty members and academic staff to conduct a comprehensive review of the past learning process and finalize academic strategies for the upcoming semester.
The workshop opened with a deep evaluation of the teaching activities during the 2025/2026 odd semester. During this session, lecturers discussed various achievements, technical challenges, and the effectiveness of the learning methods implemented. This evaluation serves as a crucial foundation for identifying aspects that need improvement to ensure students receive an optimal learning experience aligned with graduate competency standards.
Moving into the preparation for the 2025/2026 Even Semester, the discussion focused on the assignment of course coordinators and technical coordination across departments and laboratories. Discussions were also directed toward ensuring the readiness of laboratory facilities and updating learning materials to remain relevant with the latest developments in pharmaceutical science.
Through this workshop, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirms its commitment to supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) by continuously innovating and improving the learning system. Furthermore, this activity aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening internal collaboration among the academic community to realize an excellent educational institution that is responsive to future challenges.
