The Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University Graduates 15 Postgraduate Students in the Second Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Yogyakarta, January 21, 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) once again held a graduation ceremony for postgraduate students for the second period of the 2025/2026 academic year on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. During this period, the Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM graduated 15 students from three postgraduate programs, consisting of 6 graduates from the Doctor of Pharmacy program (DIF), 4 graduates from the Master of Clinical Pharmacy program (MFK), and 5 graduates from the Master of Pharmacy program (MIF).

The outstanding academic achievements of this period’s graduates are evident in the Master of Clinical Pharmacy and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences programs, where 100% of graduates received honors. Meanwhile, 67% of graduates from the Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program received similar honors. This achievement is supported by a highly competitive average Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.98 for the doctoral program and 3.92 for both the Master of Clinical Pharmacy and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences programs.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM also gave special recognition to the best graduates from each study program who achieved the highest academic achievements. The title of top graduate was awarded to Made Krisna Adi Jaya from the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, who achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00, Paulina Ambarsari Mawar Ning Hadi from the Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy with a GPA of 3.96, and Nur Azizah from the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, who achieved a GPA of 3.97. The success of these graduates is clear evidence of their dedication to pursuing postgraduate studies with an emphasis on academic quality and a competent graduate profile.

The graduation ceremony is a momentous occasion for the Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University to reaffirm its commitment to producing excellent and professional human resources in the field of pharmacy. This achievement is in line with the faculty’s support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on quality education through the provision of inclusive and internationally-standard higher education. Through this graduation, it is hoped that the new alumni can make a real contribution to the development of science and the improvement of health services in the community.
