Yogyakarta, 8 December 2025 — To support students’ health, concentration, and well-being during the Final Examination Period (UAS), the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada once again launched its Free Breakfast Program, accessible to all students. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to fulfilling students’ basic nutritional needs and ensuring their readiness to learn during this intensive exam period.
Located in the APSLC Building Lobby, the Faculty of Pharmacy provides 200 breakfast portions each day for students to enjoy. The free breakfast is available every morning throughout the UAS period as an effort to help students start the day with adequate nutritional intake. A proper breakfast has been proven to enhance focus, memory, and stamina, enabling students to take their exams in better physical and mental condition. This program also offers practical support for students who have tight schedules and limited time to prepare breakfast on their own.
This initiative contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by supporting access to nutritious food for students, SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through efforts to enhance physical and mental health, and SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering a learning environment that promotes academic success.
Through this program, the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy reaffirms its commitment to providing caring, meaningful, and impactful initiatives for students, especially during crucial periods such as the Final Examination Week.
