Strengthening Global Standards, 5 Study Programs at Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Earn International Accreditation from ASIIN

Yogyakarta, April 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM proudly announces a major achievement in higher education, having earned international accreditation from the Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics (ASIIN). This prestigious recognition applies to five of the faculty’s flagship programs: the Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy Science, Master of Clinical Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy Management, and Doctor of Pharmacy Science. The accreditation, valid since March 25, 2026, highlights the faculty’s excellence in delivering globally recognized education.

This accomplishment underscores the Faculty of Pharmacy’s dedication to providing outstanding education that meets national and international standards. By securing this accreditation, the faculty contributes significantly to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, it advances SDG 4 by promoting quality education across the ASEAN region, SDG 3 by fostering pharmaceutical innovation to support public health, and SDG 17 by strengthening trusted global partnerships.
