Marlita Putri Ekasari, S.Farm., MPH Apt1 (Indonesia) in a team with Gillian Murphy2 (Ireland), Antoni Marin3 (Spain), and Benjamin Kruft4 (Germany), granted Student Choice Award for their pitch deck innovation to response the global health problem in the Central African Republic. The award has been announced on the last day of summer school, ENERGHY – Energizing Global Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship, organized by University of Barcelona, Spanyol in partnership with European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Health), the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), NUI-Galway BioInnovate Ireland, Sanofi-Espoir Foundation, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (HSJD) and Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) from 7 to 19 September 2020 [https://www.isglobal.org/-/energhy]. This virtual event hosted 46 participants from 29 countries which have various academic and professional backgrounds. In detail, about 46% participants are working in research and academia, 20% of them are working in health care settings, 15% working in private sectors and 4% of them are working in multilateral organizations. Their educational background varied from master (54%), 17% ongoing master, 11% ongoing PhD/Postdoc and 11 % young professionals. They were selected from 260 applicants around the world. In this event, all selected participants were randomly grouped into 10 teams. Each team should propose innovative solution to one challenge and presented in the pitch deck session (MRLT) (Humas FA UGM).
