Pharmaceutical Sciences are very dynamics and continuously developing. Rapidprogress in research and inventions has led to the growth of a number of advancedsubjects in pharmaceutical sciences as well as pharmaceutical cares. Some fastemerging topics are examples: applications of advanced material sciences andnanotechnology in pharmaceutical technology, molecular biology-basedpharmacology/toxicology, computational approach in medicinal chemistry, andvarious novel trends in clinical and social pharmacy.
An international conferenceon Pharmacy and Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences will be organizedby the faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), in collaboration withthe Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and the Nara Institute of Science andTechnology (NAIST), Japan. This scientific event is organized to celebrate the63rd anniversary of the faculty of Pharmacy UGM and Lustrum XIIof Universitas Gadjah Mada. In the conference, a number of lectures in thefields of pharmaceutical care and pharmaceutical science will be presented.Beside, some selected research papers will be contributed as oral or posterpresentations.
